Meet our Ministry Team
Brent Snyder
Pastor
Pastor Brent began his ministry with us on September 13th, 2021. Brent is married to Autumn and has three children; Dawson, Eden and Hayden. Brent graduated from Fruitland Baptist Bible College and has an Associates Degree in Christian Ministry & Religion, and Piedmont International University with a Bachelors in Christian Ministry, a minor in Pastoral Studies and a minor in Church Education. Brent received his Masters of Divinity in Church Revitalization at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2024. He began working on his Doctor of Divinity Degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary last fall. Brent has served local churches in the mountains of NC for 13 years through pastoral ministry and church health consultation. Brent and Autumn are encouraged and excited about what they believe God will do in our community as we strive to make much of Jesus to our neighbors and the nations!
Rebecca Huff
Worship Leader
Rebekah lives in Mars Hill and grew up in Locust Grove, playing the drums in the Refuge Youth band and watching her mother play the organ for the church. She loves music, and loves to encourage the Body of Christ with music. She is a teacher with Madison County Schools, and coaches softball as well.
Joanna Jamerson
Ministry Secretary
Joanna serves as the Ministry Secretary at Locust Grove Baptist Church. She grew up attending and was a member of Dillingham Presbyterian Church. She became a church member at Locust Grove in the fall of 2023 after she and her husband got married in 2022. Joanna enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. She looks forward to what the Lord has in store for her as she serves the church as the Ministry Secretary.
