Refuge Students

Sundays at 10am and 6pm, Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.
On Sunday at 10am children and students go through the “New City Catechism.”
The New City Catechism is a curriculum that provides lessons for all ages (pre-k
through high school) and systematically walks them through the basic doctrines
of the Christian faith over a one-year period. Our Sunday morning class on the
New City Catechism combines children, students, and parents into one
classroom setting because we believe it is important for parents to be the primary
disciplers of their children.

On Sunday evenings at 6pm, Refuge Hangout meets for preschool to 12th grade.
Refuge Hangout is the primary place where our children and students have the
opportunity to fellowship through games and snacks. Since repetition is crucial to
learning and memory, Refuge Hangout reiterates the Sunday School Lesson and
the Sunday Sermon in ways that will help kids take the Bible’s message to heart.

Wednesday night student ministries are currently on hold until 1/15/25 because
of ongoing disaster relief efforts at Locust Grove due to Hurricane Helene. Every
Wednesday night at 6:30pm Refuge Students participate in a time of fellowship
and Bible study intended to build a sense of community and belonging. The
primary goal of our Bible study is to teach students how to read and interpret the
Bible for themselves, while also helping them learn to pray according to God’s
Word.
